Delete a credit card

Managing your payment methods is an essential part of keeping your Thrive account up to date. Whether you’re using the Thrive mobile app or the website, deleting a credit card from your account is a simple process. Below, you’ll find step-by-step instructions for removing your credit card securely from either platform.

Note-Tip.png  Remember to review any pending transactions linked to the card before deletion to avoid complications.


Instructions

Thrive Mobile App

1.  Open the Thrive app on your mobile device.

2.  Navigate to the account page by clicking on the Account icon located at the bottom right of the screen.

3.  On the account page, select Payment Methods.

4.  In the Payment Methods section, you will see a list of all the credit cards linked to your account. Find the credit card you want to delete and tap on it.

5.  After selecting the card, click the Delete payment method link.

6.  A confirmation prompt will appear to ensure that you intend to delete the correct credit card. Double-check the card details to make sure it is the correct credit card you want to delete and select the Delete button. Your credit card has now been removed from your account.

Note-Tip.png  If you have any pending transactions tied to the credit card, consider updating them before deleting the card to prevent issues.

 

Thrive Website

1.  Open a web browser and visit the Thrive website.

2.  Log in to your account using your credentials.

3.  Once logged in, go to the Account page and select Payment methods.

4.  In the Payment Methods section, all the linked credit cards will be displayed. Look for the card you want to remove and click on the X next to it.

5.  A confirmation screen will appear asking you to confirm the deletion of the card. Select the Okay button to confirm your decision. Your credit card has now been deleted from the account.
