How to add a credit card or debit card

This article outlines the procedure for adding your credit card or debit card to your Thrive account. Following the steps in this article will help you quickly and easily add a payment method to your account. 

Shape-Lightning-128.png  Make sure the app is up to date and you have a stable internet connection. Disable any active VPNs, as they may affect connectivity.


Adding Credit or Debit Card

Thrive Mobile App

1.  Open the App on your mobile device.

2.  Navigate to the account page by clicking on the Account icon located at the bottom right of the screen.

3.  On the account page, select Payment Methods.

4.  Select + Add Credit or Debit card

5.  Please provide your credit card information and select Save card at the bottom of the form.

Thrive Website

1.  Open a web browser and visit the Thrive website.

2.  Log in to your account using your credentials.

3.  Once logged in, go to the My Account page and select Payment methods.

4.  On the Payment methods window, select Add card.

5.  On the next screen, select Credit or debit Card.

6.  Please provide your credit card information and select Save at the bottom of the form.

Troubleshooting

1. Verify Card Information

  • Accuracy: Double-check the card number, CVV/security code, and expiration date.
    Name/Address: Ensure the name on the card and billing address exactly match your bank's records.

2.  Ordering Location

  • Try switching to a different location in the app (i.e. Corporate HQ) before adding a payment method. Switch back to your original location before placing your order.

3. Check Card and Bank Status

  • Active Status: Ensure the card is not expired or locked.
  • Funds: Confirm you have sufficient funds or credit available.
  • Security Blocks: Banks may block new or "suspicious" transactions, especially with third-party apps. Call your bank to authorize the transaction.

Shape-Lightning-128.png  The security protocols implemented on some company devices and networks may hinder the proper communication of credit card information with the server. We encourage the use of a personal device that is not connected to the company network.
