To enhance the security of guest accounts and protect against unauthorized access, Thrive limits the number of unsuccessful login attempts. If the maximum allowed attempts are reached, the account will be temporarily locked.
After 6 unsuccessful login attempts, your account will be locked, and you will be logged out of all current sessions across multiple devices.
Login Credentials
If you have entered your login credentials incorrectly multiple times, you will receive a popup message indicating that your account has been locked. To regain access to your Thrive account, you will need to reset your password. There are two ways to reset the password:
- In the popup message, click on Send reset link. Then, open your inbox and look for the password reset email from Thrive. Follow the instructions in the email to reset your password.
The password reset link in the email expires after 24 hours. If the link expires, you must request a new reset link. If you don't see the email in your main inbox, be sure to check your spam or junk folder as well.
- Follow the steps in the reset password article.
Password Reset Request
Your account may be locked for 24 hours if you request password reset links too frequently.
- If you receive the "Too many request attempts" error message, wait a 24 hours before requesting a new password reset link.
Upon request, Guest Support is able to delete your account, enabling you to create a new account with the same email address and avoid the 24-hour lockout period.
